Feeding Instructions
Offer initially by the handful twice each day from 3 - 5 days of age. Use fresh calf starter, discarding old feed. Continue to feed as sole ration, increasing the amount until the calf is consuming 2 - 4 pounds per day until the calf is 2 months of age. After 2 months of age, good alfalfa hay may be introduced. For early rapid growth, the calf starter may be fed up to 6 pounds per day. Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water.
